About

Who We Are

OTTOYARD was founded by Chase Austin Ballenger with a simple but ambitious vision: to close the infrastructure gap holding back the adoption of autonomous and electric fleets.

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, OTTOYARD is a portfolio company of Ballenger Ventures, built at the intersection of real estate development, fleet logistics, and mobility technology. Our team recognized early that while billions are being invested into AVs, EVs, and smart cities, the supporting infrastructure (where vehicles charge, stage, and get managed), remains critically underserved.

We see this gap as one of the biggest opportunities of the decade. By combining scalable depot development with our proprietary FleetOps Platform, OTTOYARD is positioned to become the operational backbone for AV and EV fleets in the Southeast and beyond.

Our approach is partnership-first: working alongside municipalities, transit agencies, and established AV players to deploy real-world solutions that maximize fleet uptime, reduce costs, and prepare cities for the future of mobility.

Mission

OTTOYARD’s mission is to build the physical and digital backbone of autonomous mobility. We deliver smart, scalable depots paired with AI-driven fleet management technology that maximize uptime, reduce costs, and accelerate the adoption of autonomous and electric fleets. By partnering with forward-thinking municipalities and industry leaders, we’re shaping the next generation of urban, suburban, and freight transportation infrastructure.
